It’s no secret how much we love the water. Between snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, and just plain exploring, we are both deeply tied to the sea. Imagine our excitement then when we were asked to present at the 2016 Youth Ocean Conservation Summit.

Uniting over 200 youth and adults from across the country, empowering young people with the knowledge and skills needed to launch ocean conservation projects in their local communities while working alongside their peers, and networking with marine conservation professionals, the Summit was a collection of speakers, hands on workshops, discussions on careers in marine conservation, opportunities to plan new or build on existing ocean conservation projects, and the chance to meet other young people from across the country who are passionate about ocean conservation.

Held in Sarasota, Florida, we also had the chance to give tours of the tiny house and talk about the sustainability aspects of our nomadic life. Here, have a look:
